Thanks, cg…it’s my favorite print. I received it as a Mother’s day gift, with the combined savings of my children and their daddy. It’s one of my most treasured material things. I added the verse from the story of the prodigal son, and am leaning on the promise that God the Father watches for the prodigal, and rescues the lost sheep who needs a Savior.
I love the imagery in this print…the thorns, the circling vulture waiting for it’s chance to devour the lamb, the nail print in the hand…that the shepherd is reaching with His hand instead of his crook…I am so in love with My Shepherd! I’ve been that poor sheep on more than one occasion, He is so patient with us, isn’t He?
Very nice artwork.

Welcome to New Things!
Absolutely beautiful Lyn! How it captures my heart. Thanks so much for sharing. God Bless, SR
Thanks, SR. I am praying for a prodigal as of late. It brings me comfort to see Him waiting, and even reaching out for the lost.
You changed your header to one of your drawings again – love it!
:). Thanks, sf.
loved the untwined length of thorns reaching towards the sheep in salvation.
